DJ LennyG
Leonard Gonzalez known as DJ LennyG has been on the turntables since the age of 10, thanks to his uncles who were a big influence in his life. LennyG was a battle DJ by the age of 15, and won the contest thrown by Astro Records. As he got older, he entered the scene by playing Old School Techno like NRG, to classic house by listening to the great DJ Eric Morrilo. He was able to enter the House scene by spinning with DJ Irene, Richard Humpty Vission, DJ Bam Bam, & Bad Boy Bill. He became a resident DJ for the Arena in Hollywood from 1999 to 2003 along with DJ Irene. He worked his way into rave venues doing underground events such as, Spundae & Giant in California.
Nonetheless, LennyG tapped in the Radio circuit by working in the #2 radio market 100.3 The Beat, where his mentor,DJ Hideo, whom was the mix show coordinator at the time. He was given the opportunity to be on the mixshow on Friday nights called, “The Friday Night Beat Down Show.” He later moved his experience to Latino 96.3 where he was the on-air DJ for Nio Encendio during the Traffic Mix. Now you can catch LennyG at the hottest club spots all over LA.
